George C. Heard

George leads project start-up and field operations, ensuring scheduling precision, quality control, and consistent client communication from mobilization through completion. 

Doug Dahnke

 As Vice President of Construction, Doug oversees estimating, planning, budgeting, and execution. His expertise in materials and construction systems supports efficient, high-quality project delivery. 

Rick W. Heard, Sr.

As President and Co-founder of AWR Inc., Rick brings over 30 years of experience in exterior building restoration and envelope systems. He provides leadership in estimating, project planning, and operational strategy. 

Deborah Wellington

 Co-founder and CEO, Deborah directs financial management, contract administration, and company operations, ensuring organizational stability and client support across all divisions.

Thirty-one years in business is only part of the story — AWR is also an ABAA Accredited Contractor, certified by the Air Barrier Association of America.

ABAA accreditation means AWR's air barrier installations are held to a third-party quality assurance standard — not just our own word for it. It's a commitment to install air barriers correctly, consistently, and in a way that actually performs over the life of the building, reducing the risk of the moisture and energy-loss problems that come from a poorly installed envelope.

AWR has held ABAA accreditation since 2025.
